Welcome back
It was lovely to see everyone back on Monday and we hope you have all enjoyed a restful holiday. On behalf of all the staff, we would like to say a huge thank you for the generous gifts we received for Christmas and for all the kind words in Christmas cards – these are always appreciated and warm our hearts!

Thank you for keeping on top of this as it really helps with the school’s cash flow and makes life much easier for the office staff. Clubs fees for this term have now been loaded for payment. If you need to spread the cost of this, please contact the office.
Reception Admission September 2026
Don’t forget that if you wish your child to come here for Reception next September, you need to apply online by next Thursday January 15th. Even if you have a child already at the school, this also applies for younger siblings. Speak to the office staff if you need help with this.

Next week, the lunches for Thursday and Friday will be swapped over so the menu will be as follows :

This week we congratulated:
Willow Class: Amelia, for being so welcoming to new Nursery children; Margot, for excellent independent writing;
Ash Class: George, for excellent thinking in all lessons; Thomas, for fantastic focus in class this week;
Oak Class: Alex, for creating a positive environment in the classroom by working diligently with her classmates in Maths; Finley, for showing a mature attitude to learning, taking on feedback well and encouraging others to try their hardest;
Beech Class: Lea, for excellent effort when writing sentences about Hansel and Gretel; Jackson, for great perseverance in Maths this week.
Our Christian value for the term is Wisdom. Ask your children about the story of the merchant and the 300 coins
Dates for the year
We have a church service most terms which all families are welcome to attend.
Our May Day celebrations are at the end of May and this is a whole day event for families to attend if they wish.
Sports Day is for the whole school and begins at 9am and last until approximately 1pm. Parents are welcome to watch and enjoy a picnic lunch with their child after the races if they are able to.
