Dear Parents,
Children
We say goodbye today to Noah H (Y2) and his family who are relocating back to Scotland. We send them our love and best wishes and particularly thank Tracey for all her support of the school.
Swimming
After the holiday Oak Class will be swimming on Fridays, starting 13th January. A letter will be sent out in January for permissions and payment.
Forest School
These sessions start on Monday 9th January for Year 4 and Tuesday 10th January for Year 6.
Clubs
Clubs start on 9th January, but we can offer after-school care on Thursday 5th/Friday 6th if needed (no booking necessary). Please contact the office when we restart if you need a space. Breakfast Club runs every day and you do not need to book.
Dates
We finish for the holiday today at 3.15pm and the children return to school at 8.50am on Thursday 5th January. Don’t forget the pantomime trip on Friday 6th January – you may wish your child to have a small packet of sweets and a non-fizzy drink in a plastic bottle. As we will be late back to school that day, normal hot dinners will not be available, so please provide your child with a packed lunch.

Our Christian value for the term has been Generosity. Ask your child about the loaves and fishes, the healing of the leper, the four sights of Buddha, the birth of Mohammed, the Rainbow Fish, the Queen of Sheba, God’s promise to Abraham, the widow’s mite, the milk and the jasmine flower, manna from heaven, the Promised King, the Prince of Peace and how we can show generosity to others.
