Dear parents and carers,
Harvest Festival
Due to the recent COVID outbreak at school the arrangements for this have been changed. The children should bring their harvest gifts to school, but in order to avoid mixing classes, the children from Year 1 upwards will go to the church for a brief visit, staying in their class groups.
Dinners
I sample the school dinners regularly, and am really pleased at the improved quality recently. Don’t forget if you need to check what is on the menu you can find details on the website at

Parent Consultations
We have decided to hold these virtually this term and they will take place on Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th October. For children from Year 1 upwards you will need your child’s Teams log in details; please check in advance that you have this. For children in Willow Class, the meeting will be over Zoom. Details will be sent separately for each class early next week.
This week we congratulated:
Willow Class: Leo, for impeccable manners and for always being kind and helpful to his friends;
Ash Class: Lily, for great work in phonics and guided reading; James, for being a kind and helpful friend;
Oak Class: Jude, for staying engaged with learning from home and joining in on all the activities; Matthew, for perseverance with column subtraction;
Beech Class: Kit for fabulous work in maths all week; Joe, for great focus in all maths lessons this week;
Cookery: Charlotte, for an exceptional week in all areas and for helping other children; Jack, for growing confidence in the kitchen and persevering to learn to tie your apron.
Our Christian value for the term is courage. Ask your child about the Selfish Crocodile.
