Newsletter 16th June 2017

Dear Parents,

Ash and Willow Class Charity Event

Thank you for your support for this on Wednesday.  The cake sale raised £210.05 in aid of Dementia UK.

Ash and Willow Production

This will take place in the Village Hall at 1.30pm on Wednesday 5th July.  Do please try to keep this time free so you can come and watch your child.  Please check the costume information sent home this week and ask if you have any questions.

Oak and Beech Production

This will take place in the Village Hall at 1.30pm and 6.00pm on Thursday 13th July.  We expect all children to attend both performances; if this is not possible, we need to know how.  Information about costumes will be sent out shortly.

Children’s Choir

St Mary’s church in Kidlington is holding an open event for interested families this Sunday 18th from 3.00pm to 4.30pm.  This is aimed at children who wish to develop the skills to sing as a chorister in a church choir.  Do go along if you wish to find out more.

Sports Morning

This will take place on Tuesday 18th July (reserve date in case of bad weather Thursday 20th July) and will finish with a family picnic lunch for those that can stay.

This week we congratulated:

  • Art: William, for creative photography and effort in class this week;
  • Sport: Davina, for thinking carefully to create her own sports challenge;
  • Cookery: Charlie, for great care and concentration when preparing food;
  • Willow: Milly B, for showing great sportsmanship during PE;
  • Ash:  Ehsan, for doing very well in his phonics screening; Louis, for trying really hard to join his handwriting;
  • Oak: Flyn, for showing great enthusiasm when given roles of responsibility; Jamie, for good work in all areas of maths;
