Newsletter 25th October 2019

Dear parents and carers,

Holiday

Next week is half term week.  Thank you for your support over the last few weeks as I have settled into my new working pattern.  I hope you have an enjoyable break and look forward to seeing you all back on Monday 4th November, ready for Science Week.

Photographs

Individual and sibling photographs will take place on the morning of Friday 8th November.  We will aim to do family groups first, so if you have a pre-schooler you wish to be included, please god straight to the school hall after drop-off.

Poppies

We will be selling poppies for the Royal British Legion as soon as we get back.  These can be purchased from the office.

Parent Consultations

These will take place on 20th and 21st November.  The sign-up sheets will go up on Monday 11th November.

This week we congratulated:

  • Willow Class: Alice, for always being eager to learn and for beautiful work;
  • Ash Class: Charlotte, for brilliant independent work in all subjects; Matt, for his excellent contributions to lessons;
  • Oak Class: Jake, for a fantastic result in his maths assessment; Ehsan, for a great effort with handwriting;
  • Beech Class: Zach, for increased confidence when presenting to the whole class; Flora, for being a technical wizard for the class assembly;
  • Sport: Helena, for not being afraid to have a go at new things;
  • Art: Mia, for great work and for being incredibly helpful to others;
  • Cookery: Joe, for a mature and sensible attitude, and for unprompted tidying.

Our Christian Value this term is Friendship.  Ask your child about how they can show friendship to other people at school.
